Working within one of London's most iconic dining destinations, we delivered a complete timber floor refurbishment that elevated the restaurant's luxury interior. Our specialists meticulously sanded the existing flooring, applied a bespoke black wood stain, and finished the surface with a durable protective coating.
The deep black timber flooring provides a timeless, contemporary aesthetic while offering the resilience required for a busy, high-end hospitality environment. The finished result is a seamless blend of craftsmanship, durability and style, enhancing the overall guest experience at Fenchurch Restaurant.
The existing timber floor was professionally sanded and restored before receiving a bespoke black wood stain and a commercial-grade protective coating. The specification was selected to create a refined contemporary finish while delivering the durability required in a high-footfall restaurant.

The project was completed during a planned five-day closure of the restaurant, allowing the works to be carried out efficiently while minimising disruption to the business. The scope included sanding, staining and finishing timber flooring throughout, tiling the bar and bathroom areas, constructing bespoke waiter stations, and completing all associated finishing works. The project was delivered within the agreed programme, ensuring the restaurant was fully prepared to reopen on schedule.
Restricted building access, scheduled material deliveries and the movement of equipment through trade access areas required meticulous planning. Close collaboration between Alpine MI, restaurant management and the building facilities team ensured every phase was completed efficiently, safely and without impacting day-to-day operations.
