New bar fit-out for the Hackney Tap

Hackney Tap is a new pub from the Bloomsbury Group, the same company behind the Euston Tap, Holborn Whippet, and the Waterloo Tap. Hackney Tap offers a selection of 24 beers on tap aswell as freshly made gyoza from their kitchen.

Alpine was appointed to renovate the old Midland Bank into a bar in Mare Street, Hackney.

The project was a complex refurbishment delivered in a challenging grade 2 listed building where original features needed to be maintained. Among the features retained was a plaque commerating the opening of the first ever bank account for Tesco.

Alpine delivered brand new bar, including an open eating and drinking space for customers and washroom facilities.
